Cleats for Stars incepted from Future Stars Sports Clinic’s partnership with the Remember Myquell Foundation. 

The two organizations collaborated since their missions were similar. The Remember Myquell Foundation requested to have a Future Stars Student Volunteer Nominee elected to receive a scholarship to financially support that student, providing the resources needed to achieve their athletic dreams.

Future Stars’ 1^st Nominee was:

Anthony Gassaway of Navarre High School.  

Anthony was not only a volunteer at Future Stars Sports Clinic but also came through the program as a participant.  Future Stars Leadership Staff selected Anthony because of his dedication to the Future Stars Program and because Anthony has a similar family story/connection to how the Remember Myquell Foundation was formed. Anthony is why Future Stars Sports Clinic and the Remember Myquell Foundation have partnered up.

Upon receiving his nomination as our nominee for the Student-Athlete of the Month for the Remember Myquell Foundation, Anthony requested to pass it forward, creating the Cleats 4 Stars campaign.  Anthony’s words,
